Online registration is now closed, you can register in person at the Race Roster desk at the Health and Fitness Expo in the Aberdeen Pavilion at Lansdowne Park on a first come, first served basis.

The Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa attracts one of the world’s best fields of pro runners as well as thousands of participants from across the National Capital Region. The race is also home to the 2023 Canadian 10K Championships. This year Moh Ahmed Commits to Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, sets up showdown with Levins!

Starting at Ottawa City Hall, the course takes runners down the famous Rideau Canal (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and by the tulips of Dow’s Lake before heading across the Pretoria Bridge to an exciting finish in front of thousands of cheering spectators.

Free Shuttle buses from City Hall to Lansdowne Park:

A FREE and accessible shuttle bus service will be available to help you travel from Ottawa City Hall (Lisgar St. entrance) directly to the Health and Fitness Expo at Lansdowne Park and back! Please see schedules and frequency below: 

Friday, May 26:
8:00 am: First shuttle departs from Ottawa City Hall (Lisgar St. entrance).
11:30 pm: Last shuttle leaves the Health and Fitness Expo at Aberdeen Pavilion in Lansdowne Park.

Shuttles run every 30 minutes starting at Ottawa City Hall from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, and every 15-20 minutes between 4:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Saturday, May 27:
8:00 am: First shuttle departs from Ottawa City Hall (Lisgar St. entrance).
6:30 pm: Last shuttle leaves the Health and Fitness Expo at Aberdeen Pavilion in Lansdowne Park.

Shuttles run every 15-20 minutes from Ottawa City Hall from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, and Lansdowne Park from 8:15 am – 6:30 pm.

Green bib:

Run Ottawa is offering a Green Bib option at registration for those wishing to reduce their environmental footprint. In lieu of a medal or any mailed amenities, you can choose to divert part of your registration fee to a charity within the Desjardins Charity Challenge.

Please see athletic standards and 2023 prize purse prior to applying. Applications will open in 2023.

  • There are three water/nuun stations on both sides of the road
  • Kilometre markers along the entire route.
  • Portable toilets at every water station.
