CANADIAN 10KM AGE GROUP (MASTERS) CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa will serve as the Athletics Canada Canadian 10km Age Group (Masters) Championships.
The top three male and female Canadian resident finishers in each 5-year age group starting from 35-39, will be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze Championship medals. Competition is in five-year age groups beginning at 30–34, 35–39, 40–44 etc., up to the oldest competitor.
For athletes wishing to compete in the Canadian 10km Age Group (Masters) Championships at the Ottawa 10K, registration must be completed prior to the published championship entry deadline or before the event sells out—whichever comes first. Championship entrants will start in the corral assigned to them based on their submitted seed time. All Championship results will be determined by chip time, not gun time, to ensure accurate and fair age group placings.
To be eligible, you must be a current 2026 member of Athletics Canada (AC), citizen or permanent resident of Canada, and you must enter your membership number at registration. If you do not have a 2026 membership, please complete a membership application first with your Provincial/Territorial branch.
