Getting to the Start Line and Race Weekend Festivities

Festival Plaza (and START lines): 110 Laurier Ave W.

Did you know that transportation to a start line has the largest environmental impact in an event like Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend? Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend is held in the downtown core so it’s easy for all of us to reduce our carbon footprint!

Use Ottawa’s famous multi-use pathways to walk, jog or cycle from your home, hotel or rental; it’s a great warm-up for your race too!

Public Transportation
Use the Ottawa Public Transit travel planner to help get you to the start line. The LRT (Light Rail Transit) stops closest to the start line are University Of Ottawa, Rideau, and Parliament. O-Train Line 1 will be open at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, May 26 to help get people to the start line of the Tartan Ottawa International Marathon!

Coming from out of town? Ottawa Public Transit has park and ride stations outside of the city centre, most stations connect to the pathways, bring your bike to use the Rack and Roll option.

Parking
