Some challenges are built for those who want to go all in.
The Ottawa 59.2 km Challenge packs four races into a single unforgettable weekend: the Ottawa 2K, the Ottawa 5K, the Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa, and the Tamarack Ottawa International Marathon. Four events, a whopping 59.2 km in total distance, and five medals waiting at the finish: one for every race completed, plus a challenge medal.

Across Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, participants take on three races: the Ottawa 5K, the Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa, and the Ottawa Half-Marathon presented by Desjardins. Three events, and an impressive 36.1 km in total distance, and four medals to show for it, one for each race plus the challenge medal.

Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa
The Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa is flat, fast, and draws one of the world’s best pro fields, alongside thousands of participants from across the National Capital Region. The race also plays host to the 2027 Canadian 10K Championships
From the start line at Ottawa City Hall, participants make their way along the Rideau Canal, passing colourful tulips at Dow’s Lake, before returning along the water to a finish line packed with thousands of cheering spectators.

The Ottawa Kids Marathon (1.2 km) gives children ages 5 to 12 a chance to take part in the excitement of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, all while staying active during the spring months.
