Beyond the Pale Beer Garden

All participants – over 20,000 – in the Tartan Ottawa International Marathon, the Ottawa Half Marathon presented by Desjardins, and the Ottawa 10K presented by Otto’s Ottawa receive a free beer, NA-beer, or soda courtesy of Beyond the Pale.

Tear off your beer ticket from your race bib to redeem a free beer or non-alcoholic beverage (available for participants in the 10K and longer distances).

Rooted Family Lactation and Feeding tent

Exciting news for new parents participating and those supporting participants at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend! Introducing the Rooted Family Lactation and Feeding tent, conveniently located in Festival Plaza steps from the start and finish lines.

This year Festival Plaza will have photo stations from Desjardins, Kal Tire and Run Ottawa. The perfect locations to commemorate reaching your Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend goals with an Instagram-able pic!

The Tattoo Truck

Back again this year! The Tattoo Truck is a unique mobile tattoo studio that will be offering custom Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and running-themed tattoos in Festival Plaza on Saturday, May 24 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday, May 25 from 7:00 am -2:00 pm. Their state-of-the-art truck is equipped with all the essentials to ensure a safe and comfortable tattooing experience.

The Tattoo Truck will also be offering airbrushed, non-permanent, tattoos for children onsite.

The 2026 IWBF Wheelchair Basketball World Championships are rolling into town September 9–19, 2026! Swing by their tent in Festival Plaza to learn all about this world-class event—and don’t miss your chance to hop in a chair and experience the thrill of the game for yourself!

Stretch, Breathe, and Get Race-Ready with Elevate Yoga! 

Kick off your race day feeling strong and centered! Join Elevate Yoga for an energizing pre-race stretch session on Sunday, May 25 at 6:30 am and 8:30 am in beautiful Confederation Park. Whether you’re shaking off nerves or warming up your muscles, this guided session will help you hit the start line calm, focused, and ready to fly.

Open to all runners – come early and elevate your race day!

Dj-Up’N Gone will be providing the soundtrack to your celebrations all weekend!

Festival Plaza & Beyond the Pale Beer Garden will also have an Info Kiosk, a water refilling station, various food trucks and picnic tables. A great spot to have a bite to eat and refuel while you’re waiting for your runner or after you’ve completed your event. 

Watch the Canadian 10K Championships and the Tartan Ottawa International Marathon live broadcasts on the big screen at the stage, and afterwards celebrate cheer on the Canadian 10K Championship and Tartan Ottawa International Marathon elite athletes as they receive their medals on the Festival Plaza & Beyond the Pale Beer Garden stage!
