The Xtra Mile Crew

The Xtra Mile Crew (XMC) is a dedicated team of volunteers who will be ready and waiting to offer on-route encouragement to runners who would like some support to reach the finish line.

While some runners may want to stay focused and in the zone, the XMC will be there for those runners who feel they may benefit from a temporary running partner.

If a runner feels they would like the support of an XMC member, they can keep an eye out and request support for some running motivation and a running partner. The Crew members will be scattered along the route of all Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend events with the exception of the Ottawa Kids Marathon.
