Jenna Ladd
Jenna Ladd is a seasoned runner, coach, and small business owner deeply rooted in the Ottawa fitness community.
As a local small business owner, Ladd has been leading and empowering local athletes since 2015, with a focus on strength, running, cycling, and mobility coaching. With over 18 years of professional coaching experience and more than decades of endurance events under her belt, she brings both professional expertise and personal passion to the sport. Ladd is proud to call Ottawa home and knows the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend course like the back of her hand—having run it, coached athletes for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend events, paced it and cheered from the sidelines since 2000.
As part of the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend broadcast team, she brings a local’s insight, athlete’s perspective, and a coach’s eye to every kilometre of coverage. Ladd is also a mother, balancing life, business, and training—inspiring others to do the same with strength and purpose.
Reid Coolsaet
Reid Coolsaet is one of Canada’s most accomplished long-distance runners and a respected voice in the sport.
A two-time Olympian marathoner (London 2012 and Rio 2016 ), Coolsaet has represented Canada on the world stage in both the 5,000m, 10,000m and the marathon. He has held multiple national titles, recorded the second fastest marathon times in Canadian history (2:10:28), and competed internationally from cross-country to road racing.
Known for his thoughtful approach and deep knowledge of distance running, Coolsaet has transitioned seamlessly from elite competitor to analyst and coach. He brings firsthand experience, sharp insight, and an athlete’s perspective to the broadcast booth.
Whether breaking down race-day strategies or sharing behind-the-scenes stories, Coolsaet connects with runners of all levels—and his passion for the sport is unmistakable.
