Dymon Storage Baggage Check Volunteers
Do you want to give some energy, contribute to a worthy cause and meet new and interesting people? Have a lot of fun and laughs along the way? The Dymon Storage Baggage Check tent is the place to be!
Who – Report to Mark Joanisse
Where: Baggage Check tent, Lisgar Street field, Ottawa City Hall
- Saturday May 27 at 2:00pm until 8:30pm
- Sunday: May 28 at 6:00am until 1:00pm
Runners will drop off a bag of important items to our tent prior to their race and will return afterwards to retrieve their bag.
Inside the tent, rows are numbered from 0-9. We will use the last number of a runner’s race bib (their race number) & place it in the corresponding row. Each runner must present their bib to retrieve the bag dropped off earlier. No participants will be allowed in the tent. We will have bag tags for people who do not already have them, to attach to their bags. We need to take the time to do it correctly from start to finish and make our task easier throughout the day.
Please bring warm, comfortable clothing & footwear just in case weather is a factor!
If any of you need a signature for volunteer hours for school, please ensure you have it with you. I look forward to meeting all of you!
