Run Ottawa teams up with Let’s Do This to enhance race experience and expand reach

• Let’s Do This (LDT) will provide technology services for event, program and membership registration to Run Ottawa, organizers of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2025, Canada’s largest race weekend
• Partnership sees Run Ottawa become first Canadian event organizer to partner exclusively with LDT

November 12, 2024 (Ottawa) – Run Ottawa, the organization behind Canada’s largest running event, Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, has today announced an exciting new partnership with Let’s Do This, the leading registration provider and technology platform for events.

As part of the partnership, Let’s Do This will become the official technology partner for Run Ottawa, streamlining the signup process and enhancing the overall participant  journey. The new collaboration is set to kick off ahead of the 2025 Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, which attracts over 40,000 runners annually and has established itself as a bucket-list event in the global running community. From the marathon and half-marathon to the 10K, 5K, and kids’ races, runners will now benefit from an optimized registration process that prioritizes ease and convenience.

The new deal will also see Run Ottawa take advantage of Let’s Do This’ integration with leading fundraising platform JustGiving.

Since its 1975 inception, Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend has not only become a hallmark of endurance and community spirit, but also a powerful force for good, raising over $1 million annually for both local and national charities. Run Ottawa continues to lead the industry with innovative programs like Kids Run Ottawa and the Green Bib initiative, which encourages participants to reduce their environmental impact while giving back to the community. The move to Let’s Do This highlights and enables Run Ottawa’s commitment to inspiring a new generation of runners and fundraisers, and fostering a culture of community, health and philanthropy.
