Run fast or freeze!

Start the new year off on the right foot and join your running community for a cool 5 or 10k!

If you have run this event, you’ll know why it’s an annual favourite, with cool medals, a friendly, warm atmosphere and a post-race social, featuring awards, draw prizes and a lunch with all the fixins—including a beer from Kichesippi or non-alcoholic beer from Harmon’s Craft Brewing! It’s the perfect opportunity to catch up with old running friends, and make some new ones.

Registration includes commemorative medal, free downloadable race photos, post-race snacks, timing and inclusion in draw prizes!

In an effort to offer participants the opportunity to reduce their environmental footprint and support their community, Run Ottawa has initiated a Green Bib option at registration. The Green Bib does not include a race t-shirt (unless purchased) or medal, and a donation will be made to Ottawa Salus.

Salus has been an unwavering champion for people living with mental illness for more than 45 years. We provide a first step in the recovery process — a stable home environment — including a transitional rehabilitation program, shared homes and independent living. We also provide mental health programs and services that are customized to meet each of our clients’ unique needs on their journey to well-being and independence.

Please note: Athletes competing with Wheelchair – With these races taking place on partially closed roads there are sections that pass multiple vehicle entry points, posing great risk to those competing in racing wheelchairs.
