The Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition is one of the largest fundraising events of the year for the Ottawa Humane Society, a non-profit, community-based organization and a registered charity that provides a safe haven for sick, injured and homeless animals in Ottawa. Whether you have 2 legs or 4, this event has something for everyone. There are races with 5K and 10K distances, a 3K walk, a 2K Furry Fun Run and a Kids Fun Run 1K. And be sure to enjoy a lot more on the Great Lawn at Lansdowne Park, including a Family Fun Zone, a Pet Pavilion Marketplace, Food Trucks and the K9 Fun Zone. Kids Run Ottawa
Schools and run clubs, please visit Kids Run Ottawa for a fun, active program designed for students 6-12 years old. Wheelchair Racing Possible – This race course contains a hairpin turn and narrow sections with bi-directional runner traffic but is on fully closed paved roads. These conditions may make the event unsuitable for fast moving wheelchair participants but may be suitable for some recreational participants. Please contact us for more information.

Timing will be provided by Sportstats. Full results will be posted on the Sportstats website post-race. Race Kit Pick-Up Prior to the Wiggle Waggle Walk and Run, you (or someone you delegate) may pick up your Race Kit at the Ottawa Humane Society (245 West Hunt Club) during the hours listed below.

Race Day Info
Kit Pick-up: If you cannot pick up your kit in advance you may pick up your kit on site on Sunday, September 8th as of 8 a.m. at the Registration Tent on site at the event.
Race Shirts: 5K, 10K and 2K Furry Fun Run participants will receive a tech t-shirt. All 1K Kids Run participants will receive a cotton t-shirt.
Medals: All registered runners (including dogs in the Furry Fun Run) will receive commemorative medals at the end of their event.
Parking: There are a number of parking options available to participants for this year’s Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
FREE Parking & Shuttle from Carleton University
The Ottawa Humane Society is pleased to offer FREE parking for our Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run participants at Carleton University. Participants can park in Lot #7 and will be able to catch a courtesy shuttle bus to the Lansdowne Great Lawn. Dogs on leashes and cats in carriers are welcome aboard the shuttle! Shuttle buses will begin running at 7:30 a.m., and will depart every 15 minutes. The last shuttle bus will leave the Lansdowne Great Lawn at 1:30 p.m.
Onsite Parking at Lansdowne
There is underground parking available for those who wish to pay for parking at Lansdowne. To view parking rates and underground lots please click here.
On weekends, there are many streets around Lansdowne (including Bank St.) that offer FREE parking. For more details regarding street parking, please visit the Bank Street B.I.A. website.
Baggage Check: There will be baggage Check available onsite close to the start line.
