KANATA FOOD CUPBOARD CHALLENGE

Post-race recovery nutrition will be provided by the Kanata Food Cupboard and they will be accepting non-perishable food donations on-site. Any leftover food and beverages will be donated directly back to the food cupboard.

At December’s Light Run, participants donated enough food to fill eight large collection boxes, about 400 pounds, enough to pack an entire SUV!

Think Canada Day Road Races participants can do better?

Bring a non-perishable food donation on race day. Want to go bigger? Ask neighbours, friends, family, or coworkers to contribute and turn it into a mini food drive.

HOW TO ENTER

• Bring your donations on race day to the Kanata Food Cupboard tent
• Take a photo of your donation
• Count the number of items
• Email your photo and item count (before July 6) to questions@runottawa.ca

PRIZE

The individual or family that donates the most items will receive:

• 5 free entries to Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend
• 5 free entries to Grit & Grind Dunrobin
