Air Quality Conditions

Fire smoke and weather conditions are being continuously monitored by KSMI Weather using the Government of Canada’s Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) and other trusted sources. If levels are deemed at RISK at 6:00 am on race day, we will have no choice but to cancel the event. All participants will be sent an update by email on race day morning, and posts will be sent out on Facebook, including the FB event, Twitter, and Instagram. In the case of cancellation, all participants will receive a refund in the weeks following.

The health and safety of all participants, including small children, volunteers, and service providers, is our primary concern. There will be no refunds provided to those who decide to forego a race due to weather conditions.
