INTRODUCING THE RUN OTTAWA POINT SERIES

2024 Run Ottawa Point Series results are live!

The Run Ottawa Point Series includes all 2024 Run Ottawa Members and is designed to:

encourage member participation at Run Ottawa events, either by running, fundraising, promoting and/or volunteering
celebrate members’ accomplishments
further connect the community of members

RUN OTTAWA POINT SERIES:

WAYS TO COLLECT POINTS

Point awards based on standings, gender and age*

For each race included in the point series, points will be awarded to RO members as follows:

Overall top 10 finishers by gender will be awarded 10 points.

Within each age & gender category the top 10 Run Ottawa finishers would receive points, the first runner earning 10 points, second runner 9 points and the subsequent eight places would receive minus one point etc.

Bonus points awarded as follows:

Volunteer with Run Ottawa: 10 points per instance/event (No maximum. Volunteerism should be encouraged and rewarded).

Top 3 Desjardins Charity Challenge fundraisers for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend 2024

The top three participants in Desjardins Charity Challenge fundraisers for each Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend event will be awarded 10 points.

*Age used for point calculation is “as of” date of registration to Run Ottawa membership.
