Annual General Meeting

Each year, National Capital Marathon Inc. (doing business as Run Ottawa), conducts an Annual General Meeting (AGM), open to all of its members. This year’s meeting is scheduled for 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Bayview Yards.

At the AGM, the Board of Directors and Run Ottawa staff will report on the past year of operations, from the marquee event, Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, to other Run Ottawa races and member activities. The AGM is members’ opportunity to ask questions of the Board regarding the organization’s activities.

This year, three members of the Run Ottawa Board will not be continuing after the end of their terms. We are looking for nominees for the vacancies, specifically, we are looking for experience in the following disciplines:

  • Finance/Accounting (Not-for-profit experience would be an asset)
  • Economic development
  • Tourism, sport or government
  • Fundraising
  • Marketing
  • IT/Cybersecurity/Risk Management
  • Environmental stewardship
