A good gut feeling
For those who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage, Carlington Booch will also be serving their locally-brewed Kombucha in the Kichesippi Beer Garden—participants can choose to redeem their FREE beer ticket for a kombucha as an alternative.
What’s kombucha? It is an ancient Asian drink with a wide variety of health benefits such as boosted immunity, improved digestion and mental health. It’s brewed by fermenting tea using a “symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast” (typically called SCOBY), which comes alive when introduced to the tea, creating kombucha.
Capture your experience
This year Festival Plaza will have photo stations from Garmin, Desjardins and Run Ottawa. The perfect locations to commemorate reaching your Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend goals with an Instagram-able pic!
Celebrate with some good tunes
DJ Prosper will be providing the soundtrack to your celebrations all weekend! DJ Prosper is an Ottawa-based hip-hop artist turned DJ with over 20 years’ experience. He has worked as hype man for R&B legend Ashanti, co-founded the hip-hop group GPM with his wife Melissa over 10 years ago, and is the new in-arena DJ for the NHL’s Ottawa Senators.
Saturday, May 28: 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 29: 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
