The 2018 Winners of the Ottawa Scotiabank Charity Challenge

Every year, thousands of people participate in the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend not only for the love of the race but also to raise money for local charities that are making a difference in our community. This year they raised over $775,000 for 68 charities.

In addition to participants’ individual and team efforts to raise money, participating charities also compete against each other in what is known as the Scotiabank Charity Challenge. There are three categories in the Challenge: largest dollar amount fundraised, greatest number of fundraising participants and the highest average dollar amount fundraised per runner.
