Run Ottawa partners with Kichesippi Beer for Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and more!

Ottawa, November 28, 2017 – Ottawa’s premiere running event organizer, Run Ottawa, is pleased to announce it has partnered with Ottawa-based craft beer makers Kichesippi Beer to provide free beer at running events throughout the year!

The 3-year sponsorship deal will see runners receiving complimentary beer tickets at events including the Richmond Road Races on January 14, 2018, and Run Ottawa’s signature event, the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, which takes place May 26-27, 2018.

 Runners participating in the Richmond Road Races, and in the 10k, half-marathon and marathon distances at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend will all receive a complimentary beer to help celebrate crossing the finish line! Kichesippi Beer will also be the beer of choice for VIPs, and visitors to the Race Weekend Beer Garden and Celebration Stage.

The 2017 Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend welcomed more than to 43,000 participants in six races, including the Scotiabank Ottawa Marathon, the Scotiabank Half Marathon, the Ottawa 10K, the HTG Sports 5K, the Ottawa 2K and Scotiabank Ottawa Kids Marathon. Runners raised $826,175 and counting for 64 local and national charities through the Scotiabank Charity Challenge.
