Race Weekend attracts runners and crowds in record numbers
May 27 – OTTAWA – A new marathon event record and record-breaking race participation will make the 2012 edition of the Tamarack Homes Ottawa Race Weekend a memorable one.
“The 38th annual race weekend attracted 42,205 participants – our largest to date,” says Jim Robinson, Race Director and President of Tamarack Homes Ottawa Race Weekend. “Weather conditions were great and the crowds cheering on the runners were as enthusiastic as always. Ottawa residents should be commended for making Ottawa a favourite race destination.”
