Free concert series is back at Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend

Michel Pagliaro and Hollerado headline 3-day concert series at Festival Plaza

Ottawa, April 21, 2016 – Ottawa’s largest tourism event, the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend, is pleased to announce the return of its Celebration concert series with Governor General Arts award recipient Michel Pagliaro headlining Friday, May 27, and Juno-nominated Hollerado headlining Saturday, May 28.

The free 3-day Celebration concert series, will also feature some of the region’s top artists, including The Jivewires, Still Winter Hills, Lost to the River and more. The full lineup is available on www.runottawa.ca.

The free concerts are open to the community at large and will take place in the heart of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend festivities at Ottawa City Hall’s Festival Plaza.

“There’s no better way for our runners and their families to celebrate their training and racing accomplishments than with some good music and a nice cold beer,” said John Halvorsen, President of Run Ottawa and Race Director of Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend. “We’re happy the Celebration concert series has become a staple of our running festival. It adds to the excitement of the weekend.”

Beau’s All Natural Brewery will be on location for all three days hosting Race Weekend Runners’ Beer Garden Experience.

The Celebration stage is supported by Government of Ontario funding.
