Chantal Kreviazuk Kicks Off Race Weekend
After the sun goes down on Friday, May 26th, the lights will go up at the Shaw Centre for Red, White and Gold, an Amazing Evening with Chantal Kreviazuk. In the presence of the 27th Governor General of Canada Michaëlle Jean and her husband, Jean-Daniel Lafond, the unforgettable evening promises to dazzle with some of Kreviazuk’s greatest hits performed against the backdrop of Canada’s most successful race events and the Canadian 10K Championship.
In partnership with local fundraising organization Amazing People, the organizers of the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend are excited to announce this special one-night-only VIP fundraising event that will kick off a special year of celebrations while raising funds for charitable organizations, the Michaëlle Jean Foundation, Hera Mission and SchoolBOX.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Kreviazuk has become one of Canada’s biggest homegrown talents, with a JUNO-Award winning solo career, and a track record of partnerships with some of the biggest names in music including Drake, Pitbull, Christina Aguilera, Carrie Underwood, Kendrick Lamar and Pink.
She was also appointed to the Order of Canada in 2014, along with her husband Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida, for their humanitarian and charitable work.
Including food, drink and an intimate performance from Kreviazuk, tickets to Red, White and Gold, sponsored by Deloitte, are available exclusively to runners until March 31 at a cost of $201.70. Only 300 tickets are available for this intimate and interactive event.
