2017 Ottawa 10K expected to be close

Start lists and Top 10 to watch
May 16, 2017 – The IAAF Gold Label Ottawa 10K is set to take place on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. (ET).
The men’s race is expected to be close with last year’s top 2 finishers – Moroccan Mohamed Ziani (28:36.5) and Ethiopian Yitayal Atnafu (28:36.9) competing against 2015’s top 2 finishers, Kenyans’ Nicholas Bor (27:55) and Simon Cheprot (27:57).
On the women’s side, Kenyans’s Edith Chelimo (PB 31:07) and Pascalia Chepkorir Kipkoech (PB 30:57) will be looking for a win.
The Ottawa 10K will also be hosting the Canadian 10K Championships where Natasha Wodak is hoping for a first 10K championship title, and the 2014 and 2015 champion Eric Gillis is looking for a third.
