How to register and fundraise

When you register for a Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend race you will have the option to sign-up for the Scotiabank Charity Challenge, all in one step. Register today and run for a cause in 2018.
Already registered for a race but would like to join the Scotiabank Charity Challenge?

1. Select the charity you would like to fundraise for

Would you like to raise money for a charity that is not listed? The charity must register before April 15th. For more information please visit our Official Charity page here.
2. Contact the charity: It’s beneficial
We recommend you contact the charity prior to signing up. Not only may charities have access to preferential registration rates, but they may also have some additional information to share with you, including fundraising tips, and potential fundraising incentives!
3. Sign-up for the Scotiabank Charity Challenge and your Race at the same time!
To register for your race and the SCC click here to complete the process. By following each step, you will enroll in both the race and fundraising program.
4. Registration confirmation
Once registered, you will receive two confirmation emails:
- An email for your race entry – Transaction Receipt – with confirmation number
- An email with link to access your personal fundraising page.
5. Start fundraising!
Customize your personalized fundraising page. Add some photos and share your story to appeal to your friends, family and colleagues. 100%* of funds raised will go to the charity of your choice.
Be sure to share updates about your fundraising on social media using #runScotia and #RunOttawa2018 and your charity’s twitter handle.
