Thank you for your interest in our marathon. The race is open to all and no qualifying time is required. Ottawa's course is flat, fast, and scenic with very few elevation changes. Considered to be an excellent course for first timers, it should provide an environment conducive to setting a PR.
The course will have:
- Kilometre markers along the entire route
- Cheering and entertainment stations on the marathon route
- Toilets at every water station
- Full medical services on the route and at the finish line
- Water/Gatorade stations are set up every 3K for the marathon. Gatorade Thirst Quencher (orange & lemon lime) is served at the first tables of each station, and water at the following tables
- Stations are set up with tables on both sides of the road (except at 33K)
- PowerGel Stations are located before the water stations at 20K and 32K
- Sponge stations are located just after water stations at 27K and 36K
