The 5/15 Farm Run

On July 12, 2017, join Run Ottawa for a fun summer evening of running at the annual 5/15 Farm Run, featuring 5K and 15K races around the paths at the Central Experimental Farm.

Why 5 and 15? It’s inspired by the time the cows are let out each evening (5:15 p.m.) at the farm.

A big thank you goes out to event supporters the Friends of the Farm and Sports4, who will be there to give out some sweet prizes and merchandise on race day.

COURSE INFORMATION

This course follows the roads, paths and sidewalks of the Central Experimental Farm. There is a small (approximately 400m) section of each loop set on gravel pathways. The loop is 5km and runners run one or 3 loops.

Not Wheelchair Racing Suitable  This event uses a 5K loop meaning multiple loops for the 15K event.  It also passes over some curbs, gravel sections, and uses a narrower section of a walkway/path plus has a hairpin on a unlevel section. These conditions may make the event unsuitable for fast moving wheelchair participants but may be suitable for some recreational participants. Please contact us for more information.
