Upstream

Upstream

Upstream offers adults, youth and their families the community-based supports and services they need to rebuild lives affected by persistent mental illness. We provide client & family focused, holistic, tailor-made services designed to support the rehabilitative process. Our core operations are funded by both the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long term Care and the Champlain Local Health Integration Network. This core funding does not cover the expenses related to our Transitional Youth Case Management Program. Therefore we must raise enough funds to support this program in order to ensure our youth have access to the care and services they desperately require. Stats Canada indicates that 20% of Canadians will personally experience mental illness at some point in their lifetime. That's 1 in 5 Canadians. Help us ensure that we can continue to provide individualized high quality services to both adults and youth who need our support. We invite you to walk or run with us and help contribute to rebuilding lives affected by persistent mental illness.
