From youthful speedsters to families running and walking together, inclusivity and enthusiasm take centre stage at the Ottawa 2K. This is a race to be enjoyed together. And, yes, strollers are allowed!
Starting at Ottawa City Hall—with all of the fanfare you can expect at Canada’s biggest running weekend—the Ottawa 2K sends participants down a cheering Elgin Street before looping back down the Rideau Canal for a finish line experience that’s hard to beat.
Hint: With a convenient start time on Saturday afternoon, many marathoners (including past winners like Krista DuChene) run the 2K with their families as a way to involve the whole family in the weekend—and as a warm-up to their race the next day.
