Scotiabank Canada Day Road Races

The Scotiabank Canada Day Road Races presented by Bushtukah were founded in 1987 to give runners the opportunity to kick off their holiday celebrations with a festive, well-organized race through the streets of Old Kanata. Today it is one of the region’s premiere running events with over 1500 runners participating every Canada Day.

With fun, friendly, competitive 5K and 10K events, a 1.5K Fun Run for kids between 5 and 11, and a 100 Metre Tot Trot for children 4 and under, the Scotiabank Canada Day Road Races is the perfect way for runners of every age and level of experience to start their holiday on the right foot.

Note: Parents who feel it is necessary to run with their child may do so but the 1.5K event is designed for children 5-13 year of age. You will not receive a race bib or finish time and online registration will be restricted to the aforementioned age range.
