The Cookie Run – Presented by Bushtukah
In 2000, Run Ottawa organized the first Cookie Run to help local Girl Guide and Pathfinder groups raise money to attend their national jamboree in Calgary. The event was a great success and now every year the run is a major fundraiser for Girl Guides’ travel initiatives. Staged the first Saturday of November, the Cookie Run is Run Ottawa’s last major event before the winter and is a great way for every level of runner to wrap up their running season.
