Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend Newsletter
Current Issue: November 2013

There is a chill in the air. Yes, indeed, November is here. Time to break out the toques, mitts and plenty of reflective clothing for evening runs. But cold weather running also has its upsides. The motivation it takes to complete a run on a cold day can be put in the psychological bank for future challenges. To get an even bigger motivational boost, check out this month’s Motivation column about an inspiring running program for youth struggling with mental health issues. Then boost your nutrition with hearty sweet potato and black bean burgers (our recipe of the month). Check out Race News for the latest registration numbers and don’t miss our interview with Elite Athlete Coordinator, Manny Rodrigues. Okay, now where is that thermal base layer?
