The course description is subject to change, so check back often to confirm the route. The start of the Ottawa 10K will be on Laurier Ave. at the corner of Elgin St.at 6:30 p.m. The route will travel as follows:
- Start line on Laurier Avenue at 6:30 p.m. near corner of Elgin Street;

Run west on Laurier Avenue to Elgin Street and turn left;

Continue southbound on Elgin Street to the Queen Elizabeth Driveway;

Turn right onto Queen Elizabeth Driveway and alongside the Rideau Canal to Lakeside Drive;
- Turn right onto Lakeside Drive and follow to Bronson Avenue;
- Turn right onto Bronson Avenue, continue over the Canal and right onto the Colonel By Drive on ramp;
- Course runs along Colonel By Drive for 3 KM, at the corner of Colonel By Drive and Hawthorne Street turn left and go over the Pretoria Bridge;

On other side of the Bridge turn right onto Queen Elizabeth Driveway and continue to the finish line.
