cure: blood cancer is a registered Canadian public foundation whose sole purpose is to raise awareness and support blood cancer research. Its founder, Lesia Maruschak, was diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer known as chronic lymphocytic leukemia in October 2010 and since that time she has been passionate about one thing – finding a cure for blood cancers. In establishing CURE, Ms. Maruschak’s vision for other Canadian families like hers and the children affected by blood cancers, is to find a future, which has a CURE for blood cancers.
